Casey and his friends Marc Alaimo and Jeffrey Combs will performance their Shakespeare show at Creation's Las Vegas Star Trek convention in August.
They each take turns performing a selection scenes from Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. The show is an entertaining look at Shakespeare's words and the endless interpretations of the Bard's work.
The website for full convention details is http://www.creationent.com/cal/stlv.htm
The venue is as always the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel at 3000 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Just confirmed via Creation, Casey's show will be part of the 6 August Friday Night Party, and tickets can be bought from the Creation website now if you are not getting them as part of the Captain's Chair Package.
FRIDAY NIGHT'S PARTY: THE "CAPTAIN'S CHAIR PARTY" is complimentary for Captain's Chair Weekend Patrons. For others there are a very limited number of tickets for sale at $119. This event features LIVE entertainment with the wonderful Ferengis Armin Shimerman and Max Grodenchik, plus Casey Biggs and Ethan Phillips. _________________ Dance like no-one is watching |

| I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a convention before. Whether it was a tv series panel like Voyager or Shatner with Nimoy or Stewart with Spiner, they were all so very funny together. The only thing missing was the EBB but we were very thankful to have Casey there. He was impressive with his Shakespeare, my favorite being the poem that he sited without even looking once at his notes. I wasn't able to attend any parties this year, Dani would have to tell you how those were. Before you know it, we were on our way home. Next we are preparing to be at the Xpo to support the band-very exciting!!! |

It was ever so awesome. I felt like falling on my knew doing the "I'm not worthy" thingie. LOL.
I loved Marc performing a monologue out of "Two Gentlemen of Verona", you could see his classic theatre training coming through very prominently. Also, Casey as Romeo and Jeff as Juliet were terrific, too. I wish I could get the whole play on DVD. It was an amazing experience for me.
At the Captain's Chair party, they had Jeff and Casey, Ethan Phillips, Max Grodenchik, Armin Shimerman and Kitty Swink performing songs for us. It was quite a relaxed atmosphere, they did allow us to sit right in front of the stage. Casey borrowed Jeff's guitar and played Mr. Sulu and Batleth Baby. Brilliant to hearing some EBB songs, but I really was missing the band then. _________________ "Note to the galley: Romulan Ale no longer to be served at diplomatic functions." |
